Why walking helps pms
Between syncs, roadmap reviews, and spec writing, PMs have natural gaps where low-speed walking works well. Document review and strategic thinking benefit from movement. The fragmented schedule actually helps — short walking blocks between meetings are easier to sustain than marathon sessions.
When to stop walking
Back-to-back video calls with screen-sharing are better done stationary. If your calendar has three consecutive meetings, the treadmill stays off for that block.
What matters most for pms
Easy start/stop is the priority. PMs need to hop on and off quickly between meetings. Noise matters during calls. And since PM schedules are unpredictable, the treadmill should be low-friction to begin and end a session.
